Canon Stephen Hoy is the Diocesan Spirituality Adviser and is responsible for the development of spirituality training events, overseeing the spiritual direction network, co-ordinating the diocesan programme of Weeks of Guided Prayer and developing spiritual resources.

Spiritual direction training
If you are interested in exploring a ministry of offering spiritual direction, please contact Canon Stephen Hoy to talk this through. We have a two-year course that is offered free of charge and which starts in the autumn of each year. Admission to the course is by application and interview – you can find more information here:

Labyrinth Support Pack

Prayer Activity Banners

Spirituality training days and events
We run a regular programme of events and training days. Our 2017 programme included:

  • running a quiet day.
