The church will be open daily to allow visitors an opportunity to view the display.

Knaith Hall Snowdrop Walk
Sunday, 18th February 2018
Knaith Hall, Nr Gainsborough DN21 5PE (Mr and Mrs John Burke). From 11am-3pm.

Enjoy the hint of spring in the air and wander through the snowdrop and aconite woods beside the mighty River Trent, in this park-like garden with its delightfully intriguing church. Step inside to discover some of its curious past. For the energetic there is also a longer marked walk on offer (45 minutes return) to the unique Gate Burton Chateau, which sits on a knoll like a doll’s house with striking views across the Trent Valley. Tea/coffee and delicious cakes will be available, together with a warm welcome as you toast yourselves by a roaring log fire in Knaith Hall.
On the A156 Lincoln/Gainsborough road, three miles south of Gainsborough.
Dogs on leads are most welcome. Stout shoes or walking boots are recommended.
Entrance £2:50. in aid of St Mary’s Church, Knaith.

Dambusters 75th Anniversary Concert


Wednesday, May 16, 2018 - Woodhall Spa St Peter - Concert/recital/play

This year marks the 75th anniversary of Operation Chastise - or as it is better known, the Dambuster Raids.

To mark this occasion we are holding an evening of music at St Peter's Church in Woodhall Spa on the very night that the brave airmen took flight 75 years ago.

The superb Banovallum Brass Band from Horncastle are returning to provide the music for the evening.

Tickets are just £5 for adults and £3.50 for under 16s.

Proceeds are to go to the International Bomber Command Centre in Lincoln.

Dates and times: Doors open at 7pm, with the concert starting at 7.30pm.
