The Diocese of Lincoln Board of Education is to host a course that will offer an opportunity to consider the importance of mental health issues within education. Promoting Children’s and Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing in Schools – A Whole School Approach will be held on Wednesday, 12th October and will be particularly valuable for school leaders and governors from primary and secondary schools.
The course, which is set to offer a blend of presentations and a choice of practical and informative workshops, is due to feature keynote speakers of Natasha Devon MBE (former Mental Health Champion for the Government), Gary Nixon (Executive Principal, Mayflower Specialist School Academy Trust), the Ven. Dr Justine Allain Chapman (Archdeacon of Boston) and Stephen Fischbacher (Managing emotions through Fischy Music).
The course will be held at The Showroom, Tritton Road, Lincoln (LN6 7QY), and further information may be obtained by downloading the flyer published below, with bookings to be made by completion of the accompanying booking form.
