The Parish of Boston has announced that St Botolphs Church is to host an all abilities Community Choir in partnership with SoundLINCS. To be run as part of SoundLINCS New Tricks initiative, people of all ages and abilities are encouraged to take up this opportunity to explore their musical talents.

There is no requirement for an audition  just a ‘desire to sing in a fun, friendly and relaxed atmosphere’. The first rehearsal will be on Tuesday, 12th September 2017 (from 7pm–8.15pm), with rehearsals to take place weekly in term-time thereafter.

Speaking about the new choir, George Ford, Director of Music, said: ‘Music is one of the main strands for community outreach for the parish. We are proud to have made connections with SoundLINCS, a leading Lincolnshire community music organisation, that encourages people of all ages to discover and nurture their musical talents. Everyone can sing and this choir will provide an opportunity for people to find their voices in an exciting and encouraging environment.’
