Church to host artwork prepared by children

04 July 2017

Ahead of the popular Woodhall Spa 1940s Festival, St Peter’s Church is to host an exhibition of artwork prepared by children from St Andrews Church of England Primary School. Entitled Beauty in the Midst of Horror, the exhibition will be complemented by a large number of three-dimensional poppies, which have been prepared by local Brownies and Rainbows.

The exhibition is set to run from 8th19th July 2017, with entry by donation to the church, and there will also be an opportunity for a private viewing on Thursday, 6th July (7pm). This evening will feature stories of bravery, compassion and kindness presented by children from St Andrews Drama Group.  Tickets for this event are £3 per adult, with no charge for children. There will be a glass of wine and nibbles, plus music from St Peters Church Music Group. All proceeds from the preview evening will be given to the Royal British Legion.
