Inspirational new book by Grimsby Curate

13 February 2015

A first year curate from Grimbsy Minster has had her blog made into a new book.

The Revd Katherine Magdalene Price wrote her blog whilst undertaking training for ordination. The book called "I think it's God calling: A vocation diary" follows her through that journey and is a lively young womens account of her journey from atheist to curate in the Anglican Church.

She shares the emotional and spiritual ups and downs of theological training, personal formation and finally ordination itself, as well as the challenges for family and friends from such a major change of direction.

Katy was selected for ordination training in 2011 and spent three years at the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield, living and training alongside approximately thirty ordinands and twenty monastic Brothers. She is now Assistant Curate in the Great Grimsby Team where she lives with her husband Laurence and cat Nelson.

The book is published by the Bible Reading Fellowship (BRF) and is available from their website, from Amazon and from Unicorn Tree Books in Lincoln
