02 October 2014
The final pilgrimage in the 'discovering the ancient for the sake of the future' series, starts on 6th of October.Whilst this is a three day pilgrimage, it is not essential that you undertake the whole pilgrimage. Everyone is welcome to join, whether it is for the whole or just part of the journey.
The first day will see you taking an easterly route from Bardney, along the Witham valley with Tupholme Abbey, Stixwould Priory and Kirksted Abbey.
The second day takes you along the southern edge of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, and the third, and final day, you will venture into the Wolds and on to Monksthorpe.
Anyone wanting to join the whole pilgrimage need only carry a day pack, as accommodation can be booked via Eleanor Smith on 07748 823712 (only £15 per night).
