Julie said, ‘It's a great privilege to be appointed at Diocesan Registrar and Legal Secretary to the Bishop of Lincoln. I look forward to meeting clergy and churchwardens in due course and supporting their work across the diocese.'
Bishop Christopher said, ‘Proper respect for law and procedures is an important element in pastoral care and in clarifying the duties and responsibilities of all who minister in the Church of England, so good legal advice is essential for all clergy and church officers. I am delighted to announce the appointment of Julie as the new Diocesan Registrar. Her considerable legal experience, enthusiasm for this new role and extensive knowledge of the area covered by the diocese will be a tremendous asset to the Diocese.'
Julie will take up her new role as Diocesan Registrar at the beginning of September 2014. Contact details will be circulated in due course.
