News of recent appointments made at Edward King House

We are to pleased to share the following news of recent appointments made at Edward King House.

News from the DAC and Pastoral Team
Steven Sleight (pictured below) has been appointed as DAC and Pastoral Secretary. Steven has worked for heritage bodies in the Church of England’s London offices, and since 1999 he was DAC Pastoral and Closed Churches Secretary for the Diocese of Chichester. He has been Pastoral Secretary for the Diocese of Lincoln since June 2015 and acting DAC Secretary for the past ten months. 


Peter Duff is now Assistant DAC Secretary. He has worked for the diocese since June 2014 and as DAC Assistant since September 2014. Most recently he has worked particularly on the implementation of the online faculty system.

Gavin Dix-White (pictured below) has been appointed Assistant Pastoral Secretary. Gavin has worked for the diocese since 1987 and has undertaken many and varied roles, including shadowing Richard Wilkinson when he was Pastoral Secretary. Gavin’s in-depth knowledge of the parishes of the diocese will provide valuable support with pastoral case work.


Frances Bell has been appointed Church Development Officer. Fran will be known to many in the Diocese as a former DAC Secretary and has subsequently been Development Control Case Officer for West Lindsey District Council. She brings extensive knowledge of the historic buildings of Lincolnshire and great enthusiasm for the role.


News from the Property Department
Andrew Drummond-Hunt has been appointed interim Property Director. Andrew has worked for the Scottish Borders Council where he was Service Director of Commercial Services. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the British Institute of Facilities Managers. He brings wide knowledge and experience in property management to the Diocese of Lincoln.


News from the Diocesan Secretary’s office
Victoria Duff has been appointed HR Officer for the diocese. Her role is to oversee HR matters affecting clergy and staff at Edward King House and The Old Palace Bed & Breakfast. Victoria has wide HR, learning and development experience gained through her career in the commercial and hospitality sectors.
