One of Lincolnshire's most historic churches was battered and badly damaged by storms at the weekend.
Stow Minster - listed in the top 100 historic buildings at risk - was hit by winds and rain, at the weekend, that were ferocious enough destroy a round window and ripple the lead roof.
Over recent years the church and community have worked hard to fund raise - they have applied for, and been awarded, substantial grants for essential repair works, to bring the church back into a good state of repair, and make it a central part of the community. Recently-repaired roofs survived the weather without damage.
The church was temporarily closed while emergency repairs were carried out.
