Here is a quick, at-a-glance guide of what to expect:

7pm  doors open (music and videos will be playing as people arrive)

7.30pm  the prayer and worship event begins, with words of welcome from the Dean of Lincoln and the Bishop of Grimsby, followed by...

Sung worship, and the story of Thy Kingdom Come 2017 from around the Diocese of Lincoln

A talk by the Bishop of Lincoln

Five different styles of prayer:
Prayers for the world
Prayers for the nation
Prayers for greater Lincolnshire offered by the Bishop of Grantham
Prayers for our communities and our friends
Prayer for ourselves

The evening will conclude at around 9pm with a blessing offered by the Bishop of Lincoln

The worship will be led by the Worship Team from St Swithins, Lincoln.

Photos will be taken of this event, and please also bring a photo that shows your local community and which you are willing to leave at the Cathedral. You might also wish to wear red, yellow or orange tops as a visual image of Pentecost.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday evening, and to sharing this special time with you and with others who will be praying around the world. Look out for #ThyKingdomCome on Facebook and Twitter.
