27 July 2017
As mentioned at July’s meeting of Diocesan Synod (see digest here), the Diocese of Lincoln has recently received the report of its Peer Review (28th June 2017). This is a new, regular process set up by the Church of England to support dioceses by ‘holding up a mirror’ to the work of the diocese.
The three people who visited the diocese to conduct the review were positive about the progress that has been made over the past five years. They suggested that the diocese should make more of opportunities to celebrate ‘success’, and said that there is a need to prioritise activities.
