Reminder: Celebration of Healing & Wholeness

The annual diocesan St Lukes Tide Celebration of Healing and Wholeness is to be held in Lincoln on Saturday, 21st October 2017.

To be held at Lincoln Minster School (Upper Lindum Street, Lincoln LN2 5RW) and Lincoln Cathedral, the current programme for the day is as follows:

9.30am  arrivals and coffee

10am – keynote address

10.45am – short break

11am – workshops

  • beginning a healing service

  • healing in the sacramental model

  • healing in the renewal model

  • praying naturally

  • healing on the streets.

12 noon  short break

12.10pm – diocesan strategy and resources

12.30pm – lunch (please bring your own), and move to the Cathedral

1.30pm  Healing eucharist

3pm  end.

The Diocese of Worcester has published some material to encourage prayer for the National Health Service (NHS), as churches are encouraged to pray for the NHS on St Lukes Day (18th October). This material may be accessed here.
