Keble College and the Diocese of Lincoln

A key leadership role

Rector of the South Wolds Group and Rural Dean of Horncastle

The Bishop of Lincoln, the Warden, Fellows and Scholars of Keble College and the Diocesan Board of Patronage want to appoint an enthusiastic, imaginative and experienced priest as the Rector of the South Wolds Group (the Horncastle, Hemingby and Asterby Groups in Lincolnshire).

The parishes of these benefices are keen to grow in faith and deepen their community involvement. The patrons and parishioners want to find a person of prayer, who thinks theologically and creatively, and who is eager to make and nurture disciples. There is a large and active ministry team of lay and ordained colleagues in place, and Horncastle has been ranked among the top ten most attractive places to live in UK, set in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Keble cherishes its links with the benefices of which it is patron, and it welcomes contact with them, as well as praying regularly for them.
