Castle Bytham Group of Parishes

Parish Priest

This is a delightful rural benefice in a charming and interesting location seven miles north of the beautiful market town of Stamford, with good rail and road links to London and the North.

The modern, four-bedroomed Rectory has a good-sized garden and is located on the outskirts of Castle Bytham.

We are looking for:

  • A priest who is happy to respond to the mixture of modern and traditional worship patterns within the group, to appreciate the individual strengths of each parish and to help us to encourage more families and individuals to become part of church life.
  • Someone who can relate to and communicate effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds within our rural community.

The person appointed will be well supported by our PCCs and team of three lay ministers.

Assistant priest in Skegness
To work with people in the most popular seaside resort on the East coast

The Skegness Group of Parishes has five churches and is looking for an Assistant Priest to join an established ministry team where a vital part of the work is regular engagement of our faith based life with the community.
There will be opportunity to develop a leadership role in the engagement with children and families. You will need the ability to relate to, and share your faith and the mission of the church with, a wide and diverse group of people, both within the church and wider community.

The person appointed will work in collaboration with the Rector, Deacons, Lay Readers, and volunteers in the Ministry Team and ecumenically with the other churches in the town. This is an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic team in a vibrant seaside area whilst at the same time enjoying the bracing sea air and lovely countryside.

House-for-Duty Priest Based at Sutton-on-Sea
An exceptional opportunity for Mission

We are looking for a gifted priest to come and work collaboratively with lay and ordained colleagues to shape mission and ministry on the east coast of Lincolnshire. The parishes of Mablethorpe, Trusthorpe, Sutton-on-Sea,
Anderby and Huttoff are committed to working together in building a capacity for mission and ministry within the complexity of these seaside resorts.

The House-for-Duty priest would be located in Sutton-on-Sea, but would work in all of the parishes to help achieve the transitions needed.
The post offers an attractive house, full expenses and supportive colleagues.
