Quinquennial Inspections

Diocesan Advisory Council

Every five years each church in the Diocese must undertake a quinquennial inspection of the fabric of the building. The parish will appoint an architect from the List of Approved Architects (available from the DAC Office in Church House) to carry out the inspection and copies will be provided to the PCC, the Archdeacon and the DAC Office. The aim of the inspection is to help parishes identify possible problem areas in the church building before they become major causes of concern.
