Online Database

There is a new online database:

We are now part of the new national database. This has replaced the MyDiocese system and will require a new log-on.

How to gain access
To gain access to the system you will have to follow some simple step-by-step instructions that you may download from here.  Once you have your instructions you should go to and follow the downloaded instructions. You can download an explanatory note here of how the system can be used.

Data protection
The data protection form you have provided in the past is still current. Once you have access to the database you will be able to set your own privacy settings and update your own records.  You can add different permissions to different parts of your record.

There are three levels of permission available:

  • Public - which allows details to be published in the online directory via the diocesan website
  • Diocesan - which only allows the data to be viewable within the diocesan database held at Edward King House but is not publishable to colleagues or the public via a directory or online.
  • Private - which holds your data confidentially.

It may useful to make some data Public so that it is available  particularly if you are the holder of an office which people wish to contact  otherwise the online directory is only able to show your name.

If you have any questions or require help, please contact either David Mason, Helen Doyle or Sue Wilson at Edward King House.
