News and events Events Sleaford Choral Society Summer Concert The choir will be performing Haydn's 'The Creation' and will be conducted by their Musical Director Rowland Lee and accompanied by organist David Shepherd. The soloists will be: Jessica Shepherd (Soprano), Richard Roddis (Tenor) and Andrew Norton-Thorne (Bass) have been engaged to sing the parts of Gabriel/Eve, Uriel and Raphael/Adam. A spokesman said: “Sleaford Choral continues to build upon their reputation for high quality performances of major choral works. The Creation is a beautiful oratorio to be performed locally in the magnificent surroundings of St Denys’ Church. I would encourage everyone to come along, even if they are unfamiliar with the work. This is exciting and uplifting music - the audience are in for a real treat.” Tickets are £10 and you can buy them on the door, or from any member of the Society).
