Churches and supporters will be grappling with how to do Christingle differently in the light of Covid-19 restrictions. On Thursday 5th November the Children's Society will be hosting a webinar that will provide people with an opportunity to find out about what resources will be available for Christmas 2020 and how they can support both socially distanced and online Christingles. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of a tech vicar!

Here are some more details about the webinar:

It is an opportunity to:

  • Hear from other churches how they’re planning to hold Christingle celebrations this year
  • Find out about the pros and cons of different online platforms
  • Discover the resources we have to support you for Christingles in person and online
  • Hear about options for school Christingles
  • Learn about our new online giving platform to make collecting donations online easier

Speakers include:

  • Revd Bryony Taylor, Rector of Barlborough and Clowne, Diocese of Derby and adviser on our Virtual Christingle guide
  • Revd Matt Tarling, Vicar of St Paul’s Spennymoor, Diocese of Durham
  • Victoria Bush, primary school teacher and author of our Christingle resources for schools
