We have been informed that there is to be an opportunity to remember the Revd David Creasey at a memorial service at Lincoln Cathedral on Thursday, 9th May 2019 at 11am.

A tribute to David is available on the NFU website, and some further information is published below. The service in May will be a celebration of David’s life and work, and is open to all who wish to attend.

David was a third-generation farmer in South Lincolnshire, was ordained as a non-stipendiary priest in 2007 and led services in the Aveland & Ness and Beltisloe deaneries. Two of the most important aspects of his ministry were the success of the Lincolnshire Rural Support Network, a charity giving support to farmers and their families, and his involvement in the organisation of the annual County Harvest Festival, with its magnificent displays of Lincolnshire produce. David held numerous other positions in the county and was well known for his unshakable faith, humour, wit and love of the rural community in which he served.
