A statement from the Acting Bishop of Lincoln:

As you will be aware the Archdeacon of Stow and Lindsey, the Venerable Mark Steadman, has recently finished his responsibilities as Acting Dean of the Cathedral. I'm incredibly grateful for the way in which Mark came alongside colleagues in the Cathedral to provide additional capacity and support during recent months. Mark's pastoral gifts and leadership were much valued by the Cathedral congregation and more widely.

Mark is currently on a period of leave and will return to his duties as Archdeacon of Stow and Lindsey after Easter. Both he and I are very grateful for the work being done by the Revd Cliff Kay and Bishop Nigel Peyton who continue to look after the day to day life of the Archdeaconry and should be the first point of contact. Recognising the particular challenges that arise in the present moment, Mark is at home and can be contacted in an emergency.

Please continue to pray for Mark and the life of the Archdeaconry.
