An opportunity to take in a different view of Caistor The Revd Canon Ian Robinson writes... Visitors to Caistor cannot fail to have noticed that the tower of Caistor Parish Church is shrouded by scaffolding. There is also extensive scaffolding inside the building, and this is all part of the Preserving – Sharing – Understanding project, which is funded in part by a £249,000 Heritage Lottery Grant together with grants from other sources and generous donations from the people of Caistor. The contractors, Stone Edge, are offering the opportunity to climb the scaffolding on the morning of Saturday, 9th June 2018. Places are limited and must be booked via the Vicar on 01472 85 13 39 or via email. A donation of £5 is invited for church building funds, and hard hats and high-viz jackets will be supplied (sensible shoes/boots must be worn). Further information on the Caistor Group of Parishes is available here.
