“Welcome to the June edition of the Church Buildings Team Bulletin.  Click here

We were very grateful for all of the positive comments that we received after our first edition and we hope that you will find this one of interest too.

This edition has a theme running through it aimed particularly at those wanting to apply for grant aid.   We look at the importance of the Quinquennial Inspection report which – apart from anything else – will need to be up to date before making a grant application.   The good news story comes from Ulceby St Nicholas containing some useful pointers to think about if you are considering making any application and particularly to the National Lottery Heritage Fund. There’s an introduction to the Heritage at Risk Register which can be a means to getting grant aid plus there is an explanation of procurement which will be a requirement when dealing with public funding.   In addition there are useful dates, training opportunities and events plus a short article explains the mysteries of liturgical colours and a timely piece on help with core costs during these difficult times.

We really welcome feedback and would be glad to hear from anyone who wants to give us a good news story or who has a question for Professor Pinnacle - [email protected]
