Copies of the March/April 2020 issue of
Crosslincs, our diocesan magazine, will soon be available in churches around the diocese.

An ‘ultra-modern visitor experience’ provides the lead story for the new issue, as we hear how St Swithun’s Church in Long Bennington has sought to extend its offering to visitors as part of a major conservation project.

The theme of welcoming visitors to our churches is explored further as we look ahead to the West Lindsey Churches Festival and a special programme of events planned for Stow Minster over the weekend of 16th and 17th May.

Elsewhere in the new issue, the Revd David Dadswell, Diocesan Secretary, looks at some of the points and questions raised at the series of parish share meetings held at the end of last year, and the Revd Andrew Jackson-Parr (Vicar of All Saints Church, Bracebridge, Lincoln) reflects on how his spiritual and prayer life has improved as a result of regular exercise.

As we seek the first signs of spring, we take a look at the beauty of wild flowers and we also hear of opportunities around the diocese to worship outdoors. Plus we hear of the plans for Thy Kingdom Come 2020 and share news of recent activities involving Lincoln Mothers' Union and also a new network for all who are involved in church-run toddler groups.

In addition, we have notices, details of forthcoming training dates and our popular prize crossword. We hope that you enjoy the March/April 2020 issue of Crosslincs.

As well as the printed copies of the magazine, a PDF version of the issue may be found here, and an Issuu-hosted ‘page-turning’ version is available here.

The monthly diocesan prayer diary is available here.

Please do get in touch with the Communications Office if you have a story that we might share in a forthcoming issue. We would be very pleased to hear from you.
