As we emerge from lockdown, we have dates for your diary, where you can go and explore the magnificent variety and rich heritage of churches in the east of the Diocese.  The Lincolnshire Wolds and Coast Festival IS taking place this year.  Churches in the Louthesk and Calcewaithe and Candleshoe deaneries are opening over the weekend of the 4th and 5th September with churches in the Bolingbroke and Horncastle deaneries taking part during the second weekend of 11th and 12th September.

The festival could not take place last year, due to Coronavirus restrictions, but 140 churches took part in the 2019 festival.  Churches are already signing up to take part and there is an excitement and anticipation in the air as we look forward to being able to welcome visitors to come and enjoy this great celebration of churches in the Lincolnshire Wolds and Coast area.  Each church has a unique story to tell, whether they have lots of activities taking place or have simply opened the doors, you will find a treasure trove of architecture, spirituality and beautiful spaces to calm your soul.
