The Historic Religious Buildings Alliance is running its eighth training day on ‘Planning and Managing Major Building Projects in Places of Worship’, in partnership with Purcell UK.

To be held at the Baptist Church on St Andrew’s Street in Cambridge on Wednesday, 3rd October 2018, it is said that the day will cover the management of all stages of a building project in a place of worship, from start up through to making sure benefits are achieved over the long term.

Presentations will include developing a vision, engaging with the wider community, fundraising, working with an architect and managing works once on site. Three case studies will also be presented, there will be a session from the Heritage Lottery Fund, and lunchtime surgeries will offer an opportunity for the discussion of individual cases.
