Scampton Church wants to raise funds for a commemorative stained-glass window to honour the 100-year relationship between RAF Scampton and Scampton Church.

This will celebrate the memory of all the squadrons who have served at the base both in peacetime, during the two World Wars and the Cold War.

The church also aims for the money raised to go towards working with local schools, forming an art project which will aid in their understanding of the historic events which have taken place and the sacrifices made to allow them to live in a free country.
