The Scripture Union is an organisation that wants to see a new generation of children and young people who have a vibrant, personal faith in Jesus.

Mental Health Suite

A brand new collection of resources helping 5-18 year olds understand, express and improve mental health and emotional wellbeing, with a biblical perspective on anxiety, self-worth and more. Endorsed by the Mental Health Foundation.

Resources for children

There is a Lost Sun resource that can be used to help children explore and express challenges, such as fear, worry and anxiety. This is accompanied by a Lost Sun video. The resource is free but you do have to sign in/register to download it. 

Through the Wood - this is a set of story telling postcards that tell the story of a young boy who loses his dog whilst out in the wood. This is aimed at children aged 5-8 and enables discussion around issues of grief and loss. The pack costs £4.00.

Like me? this invites children aged 8-11 to consider their own sense of self-worth, self-esteem and self-respect. There are four session outlines, intended for use with groups of children in a school or small group context. This is a free resource but you do have to sign in/register to download it.

Resources for youth

Is Anybody listening? This is a workshop about social media and value, and is centred around a spoken-word piece in video form that talks about the challenges of social media and the difference that Jesus makes. It is designed to be an interactive, discussion-based workshop. The resource is free but you do have to sign in/register to download it. There is also a video. Both are free but sign-in is required.

Chloe's story - invites young people to explore issues around self-esteem, self-worth and anxiety. This session lasts for around 60 minutes and is intended for use with those aged over 13. This is free but sign-in is required.


Daily videos for teenagers using challenges from sport and culture to help them explore the Bible and how it might be relevant today. Created for teenagers with no experience of church, as well as those who’ve been there all their lives.

Make and Pray

Daily videos for children and families featuring a make-at-home craft with an accompanying bible story or prayer idea. Ideal to share with families who are looking for things to do at home.
