It was a pleasure to meet so many people from around the diocese and further afield at the 2018 Lincolnshire Show.

A warm welcome was extended to people of all ages at the diocesan marquee in the Discovery Zone, and visitors were treated to a varied programme that included displays, children’s games, archdeacons’ visitation services for the swearing-in of churchwardens and live entertainment.

Part of this entertainment included contributions prepared by the children and staff at some of our primary schools and also an introduction to choral music courtesy of a junior chorister. The diocesan offering also featured an opportunity to mark RAF100 and meet with some of our local RAF chaplains, and both Bishop Nicholas and the Revd Julie Wearing were present to share more details about their forthcoming 100-mile charity cycle ride in aid of the Bishop of Lincoln’s Ready for School Fund (for more details, please see here).

Thank you to all those who stopped by and spent time with us at the show. An initial selection of photographs taken at the show appears below.
