Church Buildings Team December Bulletin Please follow the link to find the fifth edition of the Church Buildings Team Bulletin. Thank you for all of the feedback from our previous editions and contributions for future ones. This time we have a Good News Story about St John the Baptist's Church at Scampton winning the National Churches Trust 'Open for Visitors Award' for their remarkable work which it is hoped will be an inspiration to others. We highlight the work of the Church Repair Society in Greater Lincolnshire and how it supports parishes in the undertaking of the quinquennial inspections and there are details of the new Volunteer and Resources Tool Kit which have been developed by the Church Buildings Team with the generous support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Professor Pinnacle looks at various aspects of church flooring and there is a seasonal offering on the origins of the traditional Christmas Crib which is the centrepiece of so many of our churches at this time of year. Do take a look at the training and resources and dates and deadlines information too. We really welcome feedback and would be glad to hear from anyone who wants to give us a good news story or who has a question for Professor Pinnacle - [email protected] Manage Cookie Preferences
