The national charity The Trussell Trust recently issued a press release stating that they expect that more people than ever will need help from a foodbank this December. This is based on new figures from December 2018 and the increase in people needing food parcels throughout the year – up 23% for the period April to September 2019, compared to 2018.

Many churches around the county already generously support their local foodbanks throughout the year. However as we head towards Christmas if you are able to help those in need with some food here is a list of the foodbanks around the county, together with a list of what foods they need on a regular basis.
