Social Justice Being a Christian is not just about worship in church on a Sunday. We believe that God calls us both to direct work to meet a wide variety of needs but also to work for justice at a local, national and international level. We links with many groups, local and national. If you have a concern and would like to know if we have some work already going on in that area, or would like to approach us to work with you, then please contact Sarah Spencer, our Discipleship in the World Officer. There are many Christian initiatives in areas such as modern slavery (The Clewer Initiative), the environment (A Rocha and Green Christian) and emergency and long-term aid (Christian Aid, Tearfund and World Vision). The Bishop of Lincoln’s Social Justice Fund This grant-giving fund was set up in 2014 as a partnership between the Diocese of Lincoln and the Lincolnshire Community Foundation.
