Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel

The Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel (DSAP) has a responsibility to provide scrutiny, support and constructive challenge to safeguarding in the Diocese of Lincoln and Cathedral. DSAP provides independent advice and expertise to the diocese and Cathedral on a number of safeguarding areas including policies, practices and procedures.

A key priority of DSAP is the response to survivors and engaging with the Survivor Network.

DSAP has a responsibility of ensuring accountability through audit, quality assurance and lessons learnt reviews.

For a full overview of DSAP’s responsibilities and scope, Terms of Reference can be found here.

The Diocese of Lincoln Safeguarding Strategy can also be found here and covers the strategic aims. Adherence and progress made in accordance to the Strategy is monitored by a Delivery Plan Review Committee.
