Read the storyCatalyst is a dynamic training and development programme designed to equip and inspire those working with children, young people, and families—whether you’re just starting out or looking to deepen your practice.
Following the graduation of our first fantastic #Catalyst cohort, we are on the lookout for our next one. There is still time to apply – but the deadline is approaching very soon!
It’s a brilliant opportunity for for volunteers and paid workers, newbies or for those who want to refresh and renew their training. It could even be a pathway to further training.

Dan, volunteer:
“Catalyst has been such a great opportunity for me to widen my thinking and let me really have a taste into the world of youth work, coming together with people of all ages and abilities to learn and grow together.”
Andrew, youth and children’s worker:
“It is a great course to step back from the busyness of mission and ministry with children and young people.
It’s a chance to have regular contact with like-minded people, an opportunity to chat about a range of topics around the discipleship of children and young people, and a chance to take the time to reflect on one’s own walk and journey with Jesus, as you have the opportunity to co-journey with others.
The things I learnt on the Catalyst course, I was able to apply straight away to my practice. This has an impact on my day-to-day mission and ministry with children and youth in my parish of Market Deeping.”
