Lead Diocesan Trustee for Safeguarding
The Bishop’s Council of Diocesan Trustees (BCDT) are looking to appoint a lead Trustee for Safeguarding. This is part of their ongoing commitment and support for Safeguarding.
It also ensures senior leadership and collaboration between the BCDT, the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel and its Independent Chair, Diocesan Safeguarding Officer and colleagues in other Dioceses and within the National Church.
We are looking for someone who is either on an electoral roll or is a minister within the Diocese, who has a strong commitment to and interest in safeguarding, as well as the general governance and leadership of the Diocese.
