A Journey with St Hild and St Hugh

Saturday 13^th January 2024

St Hild College and the College of St Hugh would be delighted for you to join us for a day of events to celebrate our new partnership, culminating in the launch service in the Cathedral at 3pm. In the morning, the College of St Hugh team have arranged workshops at Edward King House to explore the themes of our two saints, and what our pilgrimage of faith inspired by Hild and Hugh may look like today.

Lunch arrangements: Please bring your own or there are many great options of cafes and pubs near the Cathedral.

After lunch we will move to the Cathedral for a conversation between Sarah Lawrence (Centre Head of St Hild Lincoln), Janet Williams (Vice Principal of St Hild College) and Hugh Jones (Warden of the College of St Hugh) about how St Hild and St Hugh inspire our faith and work today.

At 3pm we will all gather in St Hugh’s Choir in the Cathedral for the launch service for St. Hild Lincoln. Teas, coffees and cakes will be served in the Chapter House after the service. Children are most welcome, and we will ensure that family-friendly activities are available throughout the day.
