Marking Racial Justice Sunday 2026
Each year, our diocese marks Racial Justice Sunday. This is an important day to recognise our common humanity and the love and compassion that we share between us as diverse children of God.
Read the storyA beautiful installation of paper doves suspended from on high at Lincoln Cathedral will be displayed from 5 September.
They will all contain messages of peace, love and hope which will inspire our area and be a fitting addition to the sacred space.

We’re asking all churches and groups to write their own messages for the display. It would be wonderful if you would join us in this initiative.
To receive a pack for your church or group (or maybe just for yourself!) , please contact Samantha Mellows at events@lincolncathedral.com
All doves need to be back to the Cathedral by the end of August, so that they can be part of the display!
Find out more about the artwork installation on Lincoln Cathedral’s website.
