Marking Racial Justice Sunday 2026
Each year, our diocese marks Racial Justice Sunday. This is an important day to recognise our common humanity and the love and compassion that we share between us as diverse children of God.
Read the storyDear friends,
Welcome to the latest edition of the Church Buildings Team’s Bulletin.
As we look towards Volunteer’s Week at the start of June we celebrate a couple of projects that have had significant input from Friends Groups. There is a write-up on the recent Community and Festivals Churches Conference in North East Lincolnshire and the usual round-up of news, events and resources. We have important news on grants from the National Lottery Heritage Fund plus an explanation of why procurement is necessary – and beneficial – to church projects.
The Episcopal Visitation with the Swearing in of Churchwardens is taking place on 13th June 2024 @ 7.30pm in the Cathedral. The Church Buildings Team will be there – come and say hello!
with best wishes,
The Church Buildings Team
