Notification of Appointment for the purpose of a proposed pastoral scheme and second round consultations

The Bishop of Lincoln wishes to announce that following first round consultation on draft
proposals for pastoral reorganisation to unite the benefice of Bracebridge Heath and the
benefice of Waddington and in accordance with the provisions of the Mission and Pastoral
Measure 2011 (“the Measure”) and guidance issued by the Church Commissioners, an
appointments process has taken place.

The Revd Simon Dean will be named in the proposed draft scheme as first Incumbent of the
new benefice.

The proposed pastoral scheme will now be drawn up and will be the subject to a second
round of statutory consultation under the Mission and Pastoral Measure 2011.

For the present time the benefices, parishes, clergy and patronage of the same remain as
they are.
