Marking Racial Justice Sunday 2026
Each year, our diocese marks Racial Justice Sunday. This is an important day to recognise our common humanity and the love and compassion that we share between us as diverse children of God.
Read the storyThis year, our Diocese has produced a Lent course called ‘Lord, Teach Us To Pray’. During each week of Lent, a sermon is being preached at Lincoln Cathedral which reflects on the theme for that week.
During the first week of Lent, we heard from the Revd Lynne Smith, our Warden of Lay Ministry, who spoke about petitions to God.
During the second week of Lent, we heard from the Revd Canon Dr Sarah Lawrence, who spoke about saying wow in prayer.
