Bishop of Lincoln announces the appointment of Revd David Swannack as Priest in Charge of Kirton in Lindsey with Manton

The Bishop of Lincoln is pleased to announce the appointment of the Revd David Swannack as Priest in Charge of Kirton in Lindsey with Manton.

David remains Rector of Messingham with East Butterwick, Scotter with East Ferry and Scotton with Northorpe and Rural Dean of Manlake.

The licensing will take place 11 am Sunday February 25th with the Archdeacon of Stow & Lindsey Officiating.

“I am delighted to have been afforded the opportunity of serving the people of Kirton in Lindsey as priest in charge. As a Local Ecumenical Partnership those who worship here demonstrate some of the best characteristics of cross denominational working and the prospect of exploring mission and pastoral care to those who call this their home is something that I am very much looking forward to. As also Rector of the benefice of South Manlake, four adjoining parishes, I trust that we can be effective together in finding out how best we can demonstrate to our neighbours God’s love here in North Lincolnshire.”
